About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Product Advisor who specializes in security and AI to join our Product Management, Alliances team at Veeam Software. In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing technical relationships, integrations and solutions with key vendors in the security, AI and resilience space. You will work closely with vendors offering detection and response, Security Information and Event Management as well as AI space to develop technical relationships, integrations, solutions and go-to-market strategies.

What You’ll Do

Collaborate with security and AI vendors on technical integrations, solution design, and joint go-to-market initiatives

Lead automation projects using PowerShell, RESTful APIs, Python, and related technologies, delivering sample code, prototypes, and proofs of concept

Develop prototypes of integration possibilities leveraging state-of-the-art coding tools and AI assistants

Identify and evaluate new alliance partners, particularly in the AI and security domains, and develop proposals for joint development

Act as the technical subject matter expert and primary technical point of contact for key security partnerships and integrations

Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations, enablement content, and videos for internal and external audiences

Represent Veeam at global security industry events and webinars, showcasing our expertise in security, resilience, and AI-driven solutions

Provide advisory support to product management and quality assurance on security, AI, and API development initiatives

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience.

5+ years of experience in technical roles such as Solutions Architect, Technical Product Manager, or similar, within tech

Proven expertise in automation and scripting (PowerShell, RESTful APIs, Python, etc.)

Proven knowledge of coding leveraging modern technologies such as Claude Code, GitHub, Co-Pilot or similar

Deep understanding of AI technologies and practical experience with implementation (e.g., MCP or similar platforms)

Advanced knowledge in the security ecosystem, with hands‑on skills in at least four of the following: XDR, EDR, NDR, MDR, SOAR, SOC, SIEM, KMS, SSO

Demonstrated success in solution engineering, technical pre‑sales, or solution sales

Hands‑on experience with leading virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware)

In‑depth experience with backup, recovery, or data management solutions (Veeam preferred)

Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences

Willingness to travel globally (10–30%) to represent Veeam at industry events and webinars (EMEA and US)

Compensation Transparency Veeam is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation. For this role, the compensation range below reflects the expected total target compensation (TTC), inclusive of base pay and a competitive performance‑based bonus. For roles with a commission plan, the compensation range represents On Target Earnings (OTE), which includes base salary plus variable commission. When determining compensation, Veeam takes into consideration factors such as experience, education, skills, and geographic zone. Offers are typically made below the midpoint of the range.

In addition to compensation, Veeam provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health coverage, retirement plans, and unlimited time off.

U.S. Geographic Zones & Compensation Ranges (TTC / OTE)

Zone 1: San Francisco Bay Area, New York City Boroughs – $313,100 – $581,400 USD

Zone 2: Washington, California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area) – $287,000 – $532,900 USD

Zone 3: Texas, Illinois, North Carolina, Colorado, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Oregon, Nevada, Hawaii, New York (excluding NYC boroughs); Sales roles located in Georgia, Ohio, and Arizona – $260,900 – $484,400 USD

Zone 4: All other U.S. locations – $227,000 – $421,500 USD
