Responsibilities and Impact:

We are seeking a high-energy, consultative sales professional to drive growth across our

Risk, Supply Chain, and Economic Forecasting

portfolio. This role is responsible for generating new business, expanding existing relationships, and delivering value-driven solutions to senior decision-makers.

You will manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and close—while partnering closely with product specialists, analysts, and leadership across the Global Insight organization.

This is an opportunity for a motivated seller who thrives in a fast-paced, intellectually rigorous environment and wants to sell solutions that directly impact strategic, board-level decisions.

Drive new business development and expansion across assigned territory or vertical

Build and manage a healthy pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting and strategic account planning

Conduct consultative discovery conversations with senior stakeholders (strategy, risk, supply chain, finance, treasury, procurement)

Articulate the value of economic forecasting, country risk analysis, and supply chain intelligence in solving complex client challenges

Lead solution positioning, proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution

Accurately forecast revenue and maintain CRM discipline

Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Consulting, and Customer Success teams

Stay current on global macroeconomic, geopolitical, and trade developments impacting clients

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,773 to $109,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

What We Are Looking For: Basic Required Qualifications:

6+ years of B2B sales experience (data, SaaS, analytics, research, consulting, or information services preferred)

Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding quota

Experience managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders

Strong communication and executive presentation skills

Highly organized with disciplined pipeline and forecasting management

Bachelor’s degree required

Preferred:

Exposure to economics, country risk, supply chain, financial markets, or geopolitical analysis

Experience selling subscription-based solutions and/or advisory services

Experience engaging senior-level decision-makers

Expanding multi-product penetration across risk, economics, and supply chain solutions
