Job Overview
Tubbs & Sons Ford Sales is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Parts Counter Person to join our team. In this role, you will assist customers and technicians with their parts needs, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment. You’ll be a key player in ensuring our customers get the parts they need for their vehicles, while delivering excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
Sell automotive parts and accessories to customers in-store and over the phone.
Take and maintain accurate inventory of stock, including receiving new shipments and updating records.
Prepare quotes for customers and assist them in ordering parts that are not in stock.
Provide basic guidance to customers regarding parts selection, ensuring they receive the appropriate parts for their needs.
Order special parts when necessary, making determinations regarding quality, pricing, and shipping availability.
Generate and provide accurate invoices to customers based on their parts orders.
Ensure all internal parts requests are billed correctly on work orders.
Assist with organizing parts storage and maintaining cleanliness in the parts area.
Qualifications
Previous experience in automotive parts sales or a related field is preferred.
Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage inventory and track orders accurately.
Familiarity with automotive parts and accessories, and basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics.
Computer literacy, including experience with inventory management systems.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Compensation and Benefits
Starting wage: $17.00 TO $19.00 per hour, based on experience.
