As a Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to work in partnership with the Store Manager to develop outstanding associates, deliver exceptional and consistent customer experiences, and positively impact growth across Bath & Body Works. Our store leaders are the front line of our field leadership team: they’re retail and customer-savvy, dedicated brand ambassadors, and thrive on the connections we make with our customers.

Responsibilities

Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.

Lead or assist with leadership tasks as delegated by the store manager, including acting as manager on duty to address customer experience, vendor relationships, or maintenance issues.

Partner with the sales leadership team to support action plans that improve results and ensure effective execution of operational activities.

Perform opening and closing routines including bank deposits, receipt of shipment, and interpretation/dissemination of company directives.

Set the direction and goals for the day/shift when associates arrive for work.

Provide individual and team performance feedback and recommendations to managers.

Lead exceptional in-store customer experiences through modeling selling behaviors rooted in Our Values and elevated product knowledge.

Create genuine connections with customers through uncovering needs, sharing product information, demos, and personalized recommendations.

Train, coach, reward, and motivate associates to improve selling and the customer experience.

Reinforce selling expectations, performance, results, and accountability with all associates.

All store positions require physical activity, including standing, walking, reaching, and lifting. Associates may climb ladders and lift, reach, bend, and kneel to obtain products and maintain store appearance. Ability to lift 10 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds.

Consistently provide a safe, clean, and engaging experience by adhering to safety standards and expectations.

Qualifications

Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.

Prior experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a retail setting.

Thrives in a customer-first based retail environment.

Ability to foster a customer-focused selling culture.

Effective communication skills, openness to feedback, and the ability to adapt quickly.

Ability to provide in-the-moment coaching to associates.

Ability to de-escalate store and customer situations effectively.

Must be available to work peak days and times, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Education

High school diploma, GED certificate, or relevant work experience.
