Position Summary Directs development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs and the refinement of policies and procedures to align with campus goals and competitive practices.
Directs/develops talent acquisition (staffing) strategies and implements programs and plans for recruitment, testing, and selection.
Directs Payroll, HRIS, and Records Operations.
Leads continuous process improvement efforts across assigned functional areas to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and service delivery.

Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state human resources, employment and compensation laws and practices, such as FLSA, Equal Pay Act, etc.
Excellent supervisory skills and have the ability to manage projects and priorities with a strong emphasis on detail and accuracy.
Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, in dealing with employees at all levels of the organization.
Preferred Education Relevant coursework/specialized training
J.D., Master’s degree or Ph.D in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Preferred Experience Experience with Employee Relations and Continuous Process Improvement.
Experience in an academic or health care environment.
Preferred License Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR); Certified Compensation Professional (CCP).
