Job Description
We are seeking a Lab Asset Management Metrologist to support qualification, calibration, and maintenance of analytical instrumentation in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and document IQ/OQ/PQ qualifications on instruments (HPLC, GC, KF, UV Vis, HIAC, MFI, etc.)
Execute scheduled and post-maintenance qualifications and resolve routine calibration issues
Perform priority repairs on user-level components (lamps, pumps, seals, tubing, etc.)
Support chromatography data systems (e.g., Empower)
Assist with instrument upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting
Manage accurate equipment documentation and asset records in GMARS
Track and report instrumentation performance metrics
Coordinate and escort vendors performing maintenance activities
Partner with client teams to support asset management and lab operations
Qualifications:
Qualifications
BS in a life science field + 4 years relevant experience, or MS + 2 years experience
Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation in a GxP environment
Strong technical aptitude, communication, organization, and documentation skills
Ability to work independently, multitask, and maintain data integrity
Additional Information
The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.,
May be requested to work on weekends, overtime, and holidays based on business needs.
