El Segundo, CA (Hybrid — 3 days in-office, 2 days remote) Staffing:
This position is hired through Industrial Color to support one of our leading global beauty clients.
We are seeking a
highly versatile, multidisciplinary Creative Designer
with strong experience in
cosmetics and beauty brands . This role requires a designer who can move seamlessly between
digital design, print, retail displays, and spatial concepts , bringing campaigns to life across both physical and digital environments.
The ideal candidate is
conceptual, detail-oriented, and production-savvy , with the ability to design everything from
social assets to in-store fixtures and display environments . Experience with
SketchUp or similar 3D design tools
is highly preferred.
What You’ll Do Multidisciplinary Design
Design across multiple mediums including
digital, print, retail displays, and experiential elements .
Develop creative assets for
social media, email, POS, packaging, retail signage, and marketing campaigns .
Translate campaign concepts into both
visual graphics and physical retail executions .
Retail & Spatial Design
Design
in-store displays, fixtures, merchandising units, and promotional environments .
Create
3D visualizations and mockups using SketchUp or similar software
to communicate retail concepts.
Collaborate with production and vendor partners to bring retail designs from concept through fabrication.
Above & Below the Line Execution
Create
above-the-line (ATL)
campaign assets such as editorial layouts, OOH, and large-scale marketing visuals.
Support
below-the-line (BTL)
materials including retail graphics, product launch kits, event materials, and promotional displays.
Maintain the brand’s
bold, playful, and trend-forward aesthetic
across all channels.
Production & Craft
Prepare
print-ready and digital-ready files
with meticulous attention to typography, color, hierarchy, and layout.
Work closely with
fabrication and print vendors
to ensure production quality and accuracy.
Ensure designs translate seamlessly across
digital, retail, and experiential formats .
Collaboration
Partner with
Creative Directors, Marketing, Product Development, and Production teams .
Contribute to
creative brainstorming, mood boards, and concept development .
Help elevate ideas through strong
visual storytelling and design thinking .
Organization & Workflow
Maintain organized design assets and project files.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
8+ years of design experience , ideally within
beauty, cosmetics, or lifestyle brands .
Strong portfolio demonstrating
multidisciplinary design
(digital, print, and retail/environmental work).
Proficiency in
Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) .
Experience with
SketchUp or other 3D visualization tools
for retail/display concepts.
Understanding of
print production, fabrication, and retail display development .
Ability to balance
conceptual creativity with production precision .
Strong organizational and communication skills.
The anticipated salary range for this role is $90,000 - $95,000 annually. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience, and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
This is a hybrid role requiring flexibility to work in-office and remotely. Evening or weekend work may occasionally be required during major projects.
