
Director of Development (Part-Time)

We are seeking an energetic and strategic Part-time Director of Development to lead our fundraising and relationship-building efforts. This dynamic role is essential in driving Parker’s growth by cultivating donor relationships, managing fundraising campaigns, and expanding our community engagement. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for nonprofit management, fundraising, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to securing resources that support our mission. Duties
Plan and execute the school’s annual fund and other fundraising initiatives, including our spring benefit Communicate Parker’s mission and impact clearly and compellingly to constituents Cultivate, steward, and manage relationships with current and prospective donors Partner with the Head of School and Board to support fundraising goals and donor engagement Coordinate fundraising events and community‑based initiatives Maintain accurate donor records and track fundraising progress Support grant research and applications as appropriate Utilize software to track donor interactions, manage data collection, and generate detailed reports on fundraising progress Qualifications
Proven experience in nonprofit development or fundraising roles with a strong track record of successful campaign management Demonstrated ability in event planning and management for large‑scale or community‑based events Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders effectively Knowledge of social media management tools Familiarity with budgeting processes related to fundraising activities and event management Experience working within school settings or nonprofit organizations is preferred but not required Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities Enthusiasm for working in a mission‑driven, educational environment Interested candidates should submit a resume and cover letter to Jennifer Gresens ([emailprotected] ), Head of School, describing their interest in Parker and relevant experience.
