The Social Media Specialist role is needed to build our community and increase brand awareness for Twilio. We’re seeking a storyteller who can create original, compelling content that amplifies our brand, writes concisely and creatively, and is open to bold new ideas. The candidate should be fluent in short-form video and capable of making an audience feel something and cut through the noise. Creative, non-standard resumes are encouraged. Create compelling, on-brand content showcasing customers, capabilities, and culture. Manage social channels including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and help launch our TikTok. Help execute the editorial calendar and campaigns. Manage Twilio’s employee advocacy program, enabling global and regional teams to share content. Engage and build our community of technical developers, consumers, and business decision makers daily. Collaborate with key stakeholders on goals for campaigns, product releases, events, and other initiatives. Contribute to Twilio’s mission of building the world’s leading customer engagement platform by showing what’s possible with it. Perform analysis and use data to prove program growth and effectiveness of investments. Constantly experiment and test new tactics to reach new audiences. Partner with the Employee Brand team to tell Twilians’ stories to external audiences. Qualifications

Experience with live video and graphic design. Location

This role will be remote and is not eligible to be hired in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, or WA. Travel

We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with customers and teammates. Occasional travel may be required for project or in-person meetings. What We Offer

*This role is open to candidates outside certain U.S. states. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only. The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows: Based in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont or Washington, D.C.: $31.77/hour - $39.71/hour. Based in New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California (outside the San Francisco Bay area): $33.66/hour - $42.07/hour. Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $37.34/hour - $46.68/hour. This role may be eligible for Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. Benefits include healthcare, 401(k), paid time off, and parental leave (varies by location). The starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
