Role Summary The Media Manager is both a subject matter expert in integrated media as well as a data-driven marketer with an analytics background. As an individual contributor, this role helps define our overall media strategy and is responsible for executing, optimizing, and reporting on our paid media plans. The Media Manager will lead the daily management of our media agency partners, ensuring our brand marketing efforts are meeting our brand and business goals.

Key Duties

Lead ongoing media planning with the marketing teams, internal partners and our partner agencies to develop integrated media campaigns that deliver results -- brand awareness, consideration and revenue growth.

Apply analytical rigor to the role by leading media analysis including forecasting, budget reconciliation, cohort development and ongoing reporting.

Partner closely with performance and brand teams to make recommendations to optimize campaigns and develop an ongoing process to track, analyze and recommend both creative and media optimizations to deliver the most efficient results possible.

With minimal direction from leadership, exercise considerable judgement to make decisions on media briefs that are grounded in data and take full advantage of customer insights.

Ensure we are at the forefront of innovation by developing and executing a media testing strategy with our partners to continuously drive improvement and innovation in everything that we do.

Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills Required

4 years of experience in executing paid media programs either in-house or at a media agency.

Bachelor’s degree, or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.

Experience leading media strategies across paid social, search, display, video/linear TV, OTT/CTV, radio and OOH.

Deep analytical experience, analyzing full funnel performance and developing insights and actions to improve performance throughout all stages of the marketing funnel.

Able to take complex media challenges and communicate them to non-media audiences across the organization.

Experience with Google Analytics, Google Marketing Platform.

Understanding of attribution models.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum age of 18.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Starting Rate Salary Range

$97,200 -- $145,800 / year

Total Target Compensation Range (incl. bonus & equity)

$104,490 - $156,735

Bonus Salary Details Pay will be based on multiple factors, including and not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset while balancing internal equity relative to other Alaska/Hawaiian/Horizon employees. Alaska/Hawaiian/Horizon is committed to fair, unbiased compensation along with competitive benefits in all locations in which we operate.

We don’t typically hire at the top of the range.
