Territory Sales Manager !
What You’ll Do:
Own and grow the assigned
California territory
by developing and executing agency and territory plans aligned with underwriting and profitability goals.
Recruit, onboard, and manage independent retail agencies, wholesalers, and select distribution partners.
Drive profitable new and renewal business using data, CRM tools, and targeted production initiatives.
Build strong, long‑term relationships with agency principals, producers, and key partners.
Monitor territory performance, identify opportunities or gaps, and implement corrective action plans as needed.
Collaborate internally with underwriting, product, and operations teams to support growth and agent success.
Represent the company at industry events, trade associations, and territory meetings.
What We’re Looking For:
5+ years
of experience in
small commercial
insurance distribution, sales, or frontline underwriting
(8–10 years preferred) .
Proven success managing independent agencies and driving production across multiple product lines.
Strong
relationship‑building ,
communication , and
closing skills .
Data‑driven and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote, field‑based role.
Comfortable traveling within the Midwest territory and working independently.
Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (MBA preferred).
