We are a leading insurance brokerage and consulting firm, serving hospitals, public entities, California school districts and commercial businesses.
Keenan, now a part of Gallagher, is an insurance brokerage and consulting firm meeting the insurance needs of hospitals, public entities and California school districts. Keenan specializes in providing consulting services in the areas of: employee benefits, workers' compensation, loss control, financial, and property & liability.

How you'll make an impact
Develop new business opportunities by identifying and contacting prospective clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in your territory.
Understand client needs and recommend suitable Employee Benefits products and services.
Promote Keenan’s private-label products and cross-sell other offerings.
Collaborate with clients to create and execute annual strategic plans.
Oversee renewals, negotiations, and program changes to ensure client satisfaction.
Provide day-to-day support to clients’ administrative teams.
About You
At least 5 years of successful consultative sales experience in group benefits (preferred).
Knowledge of the California managed care market and group underwriting principles.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Analytical, creative, and highly organized with strong prioritization abilities.
Active California Life & Disability Agent license.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Required: Bachelor's degree, 1 year related experience, and appropriate insurance licensing required OR Bachelor's degree, participation in Gallagher's Sales Internship Program (GSIP), and appropriate insurance licensing required OR High School Diploma/GED and 6 years experience.
Compensation and benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
