Consistent with this approach, we hire the best qualified candidates for all positions.We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our growing Consumer Health and Wellness team, supporting Haleon’s portfolio of consumer wellness brands. Consumer health or brand-related PR experience strongly preferred. Edelman’s Wellness team sits at the cross-section of Health and Brand, helping to evolve, promote, and protect some of the world’s most iconic and celebrated brands. We aspire to do work that moves people—work that inspires people to not only “buy in” to brands, but also buy. By employing innovative and thoughtful strategies, the Wellness team develops integrated, earned-led campaigns that help clients promote their brands, protect their reputations and license to operate, and influence public perceptions. The Senior Account Executive plays a critical role in owning day-to-day account execution while contributing to earned media strategy, trend-led storytelling, and junior team development. This role is ideal for a strong executor who is ready to take on increased responsibility, client-facing ownership, and leadership within an earned-first, culturally fluent account team. **Responsibilities:*** Lead the execution of communications plans, programs, and materials that meet client objectives, ensuring work is strategically sound and earned-media driven.* Manage multiple projects from conception to completion, proactively anticipating challenges and ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets, including the development of media materials to support client campaigns.* Serve as a reliable day-to-day client contact, building trusted relationships through clear communication, responsiveness, and attention to detail.* Demonstrate a strong understanding of key client information including business strategy, industry news, products and services, key customers, and competitors – and apply this knowledge to earned media thinking.* Play a leading role in the execution of brand activations such as press trips, media events, and earned mailers, including outreach to secure attendance or opt-ins, staffing events, and developing detailed recap reports with insights and learnings.* Provide cross-team coordination and leadership, including owning client status agendas and activity reports, attending and contributing to meetings and conference calls, compiling media and competitor audits, and managing timelines and logistics across workstreams.* Drive proactive and reactive earned media relations outreach, including story-mining, pitch development, media list creation, outreach execution, monitoring and tracking coverage, staffing interviews, and briefing spokespersons. Existing consumer media relationships are strongly preferred.* Apply cultural happenings, trends, and insights to earned media strategies, helping translate trends into timely, relevant story angles and pitches for Haleon brands.* Support with financial and administrative responsibilities with increasing independence, including vendor setup, invoice submission, and coordination of product shipments for events, sampling, and mailers.* Supervise and support junior team members by providing clear direction, reviewing work for quality, and offering ongoing feedback and coaching.* Commit to continuous learning and leadership development; set stretch goals and actively seek opportunities to grow strategic, client-facing, and mentoring capabilities.* Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Edelman’s values (Quality, Integrity, Respect, Entrepreneurial Spirit, Mutual Benefit) and Code of Ethics and Business Conduct.**Basic Qualifications:*** 3-4 years of relevant experience in public relations and/or related fields including agency, consumer brand, media, or publishing* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience**Preferred Qualifications:*** Previous agency and/or consumer brand experience, with a strong focus on earned media.* Demonstrated ability to apply cultural trends and insights to PR and earned storytelling on behalf of clients.* Strong grasp of public relations fundamentals, including research, writing, editing, and media relations.* Experience building and maintaining media relationships across traditional and digital outlets.* Interest and/or experience in consumer health and wellness strongly preferred.$60,000 - 80,000 Annually#LI-RK1An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees.
