POSITION OVERVIEW

They have branded and unbranded petroleum offerings catering to Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. D&D understands the local markets and the neighborhood store to make them competitive and successful. The company is looking for an ambitious Sales Associate that is eager to learn and grow their career with the company to manage a new territory including Birmingham, Alabama, and the surrounding area/suburbs. This role will report to the VP of Marketing & Sales.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Seeking sales opportunities within the Southeast wholesale fuel market
Determine potential customer needs and provide adequate proposals to meet those needs
Gather information, negotiate terms and work towards finalizing fuel contracts with potential customers
Work with vendors to provide services to current and future customers
Provide necessary customer information to in-office staff to create contracts
Weekly check-ins with VP of Sales & Marketing for guidance and progress
Attend once a week brand meetings to discuss status on sites newly under contract
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to communicate clearly with a positive attitude
Customer focused with a service oriented mindset
Ability to negotiate and explain contract elements effectively
Decisive and problem solving abilities
Follow through and follow up with current and prospective customers
Highly motivated with a demonstrated ability to work well with others
