Targeting Analyst
to join our team in Tampa, FL, supporting a mission‑driven customer and contributing directly to national security objectives. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring today is safe and tomorrow is smarter.
Job Description Summary The Targeting Analyst provides specialized support in Open‑Source Intelligence (OSINT) analysis, software and technology evaluation, and the development of improved analytical workflows. You will apply OSINT and all‑source methodologies to generate actionable insights on adversary activities, capabilities, and intentions in support of operational planning and targeting.
Primary Responsibilities
Apply OSINT and all‑source intelligence tradecraft to deliver actionable assessments for operational planning and targeting
Identify and leverage Publicly/Commercially Available Information (PAI/CAI), with and without analytic tools
Identify open‑source/PAI sources to support targeting assessments, pattern‑of‑life development, and threat actor identification
Synthesize diverse data sets into clear, coherent intelligence products
Conduct analysis of foreign intelligence efforts targeting customer equities
Perform industry and threat analysis using social media, internet resources, and commercial/open‑source databases
Support force protection and identity data management analysis efforts
Conduct online research to identify vulnerabilities, indicators, and emerging threats
Perform analytic tasks related to national security, technology, geographic areas, and targeted vulnerabilities
Prepare assessments of current threats, trends, and patterns derived from PAI/CAI
Conduct link analysis to identify networks, access vectors, and potential vulnerabilities
Produce high‑quality written and verbal products for senior leaders and partner organizations
Maintain proficiency with SharePoint, Microsoft Office, and data‑sharing tools
Utilize Boolean search methodologies and remain current on emerging technologies
Work independently, prioritize workloads, and meet short deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

Support force protection and identity intelligence missions
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to produce comprehensive, reliable intelligence products
Anticipate mission needs and deliver timely, relevant analysis for senior‑level decision‑makers
Integrate new technologies, tools, and methodologies to advance analytic capabilities
What You'll Need to Succeed
Bachelor's Degree or related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
5+ years of relevant intelligence or targeting experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
Strong OSINT background, including experience building target packages using publicly available information (PAI)
Experience conducting investigations across social media, forums, dark web spaces, and cyber enumeration
Expertise in creating analytic charts, visualizations, and intelligence products
Strong writing, reporting, and communication skills tailored to diverse audiences
Ability to independently produce complex, accurate intelligence reports
Strong decision‑making skills in complex environments
Desired Qualifications
Prior experience supporting Military or Federal Intelligence organizations
OSINT or PAI‑focused certifications
Experience with data analytics, data visualization, or imagery analysis
Familiarity with the intelligence cycle or Joint Targeting cycle
Experience with Army Intelligence Support to Targeting
Security Clearance Level
Must hold an active Secret clearance and be eligible to upgrade to a TS/SCI

Salary range: $93,500 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
