
Commercial Portfolio Coordinator

The Commercial Portfolio Coordinator will be responsible for performing a variety of duties and tasks to assist in the management of the commercial loan portfolio. This role will work closely with the staff of the Commercial Services Department to ensure accurate documentation, timely completion of portfolio servicing tasks, and consistent adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements. Other functions assigned by Commercial Services Department leadership, will apply.

Maintain all outstanding tickler items including: borrower financial documents, insurance tracking, maturing loans, UCC expirations, property taxes, etc.
Work with borrowers, lenders, and analysts to resolve outstanding items to stay in compliance with commercial loan agreements.
Assisting in preparation of monthly and quarterly departmental reports.
Processing and monitoring past due reports and coordinating with the Commercial Loan Officers and borrowers to bring current where applicable.
Working with Commercial Loan Officers, Underwriters, Loan Processors, and Borrowers throughout the loan cycle to maintain best practices and departmental efficiency.
Answer phone calls and direct where appropriate.
Provide additional support to the department where applicable and necessary.
All other duties assigned.
Maintains an understanding of the features and benefits of all Credit Union commercial products and services.
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including telephone communication skills
Proactive communicator and problem solver

Sitting for extended period of time
Handling – ability to touch, feel, lift, operate and control equipment, materials and objects with hands
Reaching – ability to thrust out the hands to retrieve an object

Minimal
Required education and experience
College degree preferred but not required
Commercial Lending experience for a Bank or Credit Union
Baker Hill NextGen a plus but not required
Working knowledge of commercial loan process preferred
Microsoft Word and Excel, general knowledge
