Senior Techical Marketing Manager (m/f/d)
sewts.VELUM, Florida, NY, United States
Your mission
Robots couldn’t handle soft materials. We changed that. Now we need someone to tell the world—with us.
Atsewts, we build the intelligence that lets robots do what was previously impossible: manipulate deformable materials like textiles, towels, and cables with human-like dexterity. Our AI-powered robotic systems are live in industrial laundries across Europe, and we’re expanding into the US. Over the past years, we’ve been working quietly in stealth mode, solving one of robotics’ hardest problems. Now it’s time to turn that achievement into a brand of its own. We’re shaping the new age of work, redefining how manual labor is performed, and we own the data that powers this new era. At the heart of our technology is sewts.JUPITER, a proprietary world model trained on over 300 million textile images. It predicts how soft materials behave in the real world and powers sewts.VELUM (automated towel feeding and folding) and sewts.ORDO (soiled-side sorting), delivering measurable ROI for our customers. We’re a ~30-person, post-Series A team based in Munich, scaling fast. Now we need a marketing leader who thrives in execution, collaborates directly with the CEO, and can turn our achievements into a story the world cannot ignore. The Role This is a hands-on, high-impact role. You will work side by side with the CEO and founding team, shaping our marketing strategy while rolling up your sleeves to create content, build presentations, and tell customer stories. You won’t just manage agencies—you will directly influence how sewts is seen by customers, investors, and the robotics community. You’ll focus on: Customer Storytelling:
Capture operational results on-site, create case studies and videos, and turn them into proof points that accelerate sales. Technical Narratives:
Translate JUPITER’s world model, our sim-to-real pipeline, and our approach to deformable material handling into content that resonates with technical and non-technical audiences. Investor & Stakeholder Communications:
Partner with the CEO to create pitch decks, one-pagers, and presentations that communicate our vision, traction, and technology. Brand & Digital Presence:
Transform our stealth-mode achievements into a brand that defines the new era of work. Lead website updates, manage LinkedIn, and ensure our digital presence reflects who we are today and where we’re going. PR & Thought Leadership:
Work with the CEO to develop media strategy, secure coverage in tech and robotics press, and represent sewts at conferences and trade shows. Market Intelligence:
Monitor the robotics landscape, analyze competitors, and advise leadership on positioning and messaging. Your profile
5–8 years B2B marketing experience, ideally in deep-tech, robotics, industrial automation, or SaaS. Exceptional storytelling skills—you can take a PhD-level concept and turn it into a post, case study, or slide that resonates with customers and investors. Hands-on execution—comfortable creating content, presentations, videos, and campaigns yourself. Startup DNA—thrives with ambiguity, moves fast, and works directly with leadership to make decisions. Technical curiosity—not an engineer, but able to ask the right questions and understand robotics and AI concepts deeply. Fluent English (daily communication with team and external stakeholders). Experience with marketing tools like HubSpot, WordPress/Webflow, Google Analytics, Figma, Canva, LinkedIn Campaign Manager. Bonus Points: Experience in industrial automation, manufacturing tech, or textiles/laundry. Video production skills or experience managing video content. Existing contacts in European tech/robotics media. Familiarity with PhysicalAI or foundation models. Experience supporting fundraising communications in a venture-backed start-up. Trade show experience (Texcare, Automatica, Hannover Messe, or similar). Why us?
Work alongside the CEO and founding team—your insights directly shape company strategy. Hands-on impact: You’ll create content and campaigns that define how the world sees PhysicalAI. Shape the new age of work: Redefine manual labor and bring our stealth mode achievements into a brand that sets the standard for the industry. Frontier technology: Help tell the story of robotics that can manipulate soft materials—a problem most consider unsolvable. Hybrid work in Munich with flexibility built in. Competitive salary, VSOPs, 25 days vacation, flexible hours, a fully reimbursed Deutschland ticket and an EGYM Wellpass membership. Professional development budget and freedom to experiment, learn, and grow your function. Be part of a small, brilliant team tackling problems others wouldn’t touch. Your Talent Partner
