Starting Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000

Expectation to work from the LA office at least 3 days a week

The Impact You Will Make Bully Pulpit International is seeking a Director, Culture Change. We're looking for someone who is a strategic leader who understands how culture shapes what people think, how they feel, and what they do. You will guide clients in identifying the cultural forces most relevant to their audiences and lead integrated programs that translate those insights into action. You will partner closely with clients to understand the change they want to see in the world and translate those objectives into strategies that leverage cultural moments, narratives, creators, partnerships, and media ecosystems to reach and engage key audiences. This person is a hands‑on, strategic leader responsible for partnering with a range of clients from the c‑suite to cause champions, to deliver solutions, oversee the development of strategy, and guide execution with an integrated team of brilliant narrative strategists, creator engagors, and public affairs professionals.

Responsibilities

Help lead strategic direction across a variety of clients while supervising junior staff and partnering with colleagues from across the agency's disciplines.

Act as a primary point of contact for clients; track and solve client issues.

Inspire client confidence and advise on complex engagements that translate bold ideas into real‑world outcomes.

Develop in‑depth knowledge of the industry and client business needs.

Find meaningful opportunities for clients and lead the development of a holistic, long‑term culture change strategy and orchestrate its implementation.

Act as a mentor and leader for those members who support your clients.

Maintain strong active relationships with key client partners at both senior and mid- management levels.

Be poised in complex project environments, working with both long‑range and short‑term business objectives and management of multiple partners.

Deliver formal and informal presentations to clients as well as internal team members.

Develop a variety of client deliverables from social content to strategy memorandums to messaging architecture.

Be part of a growing company and talented senior staff team.

8+ years of leadership experience in social impact, consulting, or related strategic fields

5+ years in integrated narrative and/or impact (persuasion or direct response).

Proven track record of developing and executing high‑impact strategies for complex social challenges

Experience managing multiple client relationships and cross‑functional teams simultaneously

Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills with ability to see both big picture and operational details

Demonstrated expertise in uncovering organizational needs and establishing relationships with senior level clients.

Previous direct management experience.

Understanding of current social impact landscape and emerging trends

Excellent communication skills with ability to influence at senior levels

Cultural fluency and ability to engage diverse stakeholders, including influencers and community leaders

Flexibility to accommodate change and thrive amid ambiguity.

Strong social, customer service, presentation and analytical skills.

Strong self‑discipline and time management skills.

Proven ability to balance revenue, client happiness and operational responsibilities while meeting deadlines.
