About our Digital Communications Manager position Under the general supervision of the VP, Marketing & Communications and in collaboration with the MarComms teams, the Digital Communications Manager is responsible for leading and implementing digital communications strategies, including website, email, and social media, to support the organization’s overall communications strategy. The Digital Communications Manager works with departments across Planned Parenthood Great Northwest, Hawaiʻi, Alaska, Indiana, Kentucky (PPGNHAIK) and its ancillary advocacy organization Planned Parenthood Alliance Advocates (PPAA) to help meet the organizations’ goals in Alaska, Hawaiʻi, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, and Washington. You’ll be responsible for developing and implementing digital communications to grow overall visibility, increase engagement in the organizations’ advocacy and legislative actions, and educate patients and potential patients on Planned Parenthood’s services.

What will you be doing! Serving as the affiliate's digital communications strategist. Managing social media accounts across the affiliate, including Instagram, Facebook, BlueSky, Threads, TikTok, and LinkedIn. Identify which platforms to prioritize for different audiences and develop social media calendar and cadence expectations. Collaborate with in-house Marketing team to develop and implement organic social media content to support patient recruitment campaigns. Executing advocacy and electoral email operations across our six-state region, ensuring deliverability best practices, and growing and maintaining lists. Managing 501c4 web presence (www.ppallianceadvocates.org) with relevant and timely updates, troubleshoot technical issues, and serve as point of contact for digital communications. Support Marketing team in managing 501c3 web presence (www.ppgnhaik.org). Manage the overall look and feel of online sites, maintaining consistency with affiliate style, national templates, and branding standards. Providing interdepartmental digital support and strategic guidance on events, legislative advocacy actions, and electoral campaigns In partnership with the Senior Graphic Designer, develop new multimedia content for online presence, including videos and graphics. Working with third-party vendors and consultants to develop and implement digital communication campaigns during election season. Contributing to the overall MarComms strategy. Ensuring consistent use of Planned Parenthood brand and message in all online communication, including C3/C4 compliance. Understanding and implementing a trauma-informed, inclusive communication style to all inward- and outward-facing content with an emphasis on digital accessibility.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 3-5 years relevant nonprofit work experience within digital communications, including website and email management and social media. Experience working on state-based legislative and/or electoral campaigns highly desired.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital marketing, or related field Skilled at tailoring messages across social media platforms. Experience managing and executing mass email strategies; familiarity with EveryAction a plus Working knowledge of basic HTML and experience with content management systems; familiarity with Django a plus Working knowledge of graphic design and video editing; familiarity with Canva a plus Knowledge of health care systems and sexual and reproductive topics a plus Knowledge of written or spoken Spanish a plus

Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000

Position Type: Full- time - Exempt
