A leading specialty carrier is seeking an Underwriting Specialist to drive underwriting production and growth across the Northeast workers’ compensation segment.
This is a high-impact role focused on underwriting large, complex accounts while building strong broker relationships and expanding a highly profitable regional book of business.
What You’ll Do
Underwrite and manage a portfolio of large, complex workers’ compensation accounts Develop and strengthen key producer relationships across the Northeast Drive new business development and profitable growth Maintain disciplined underwriting practices and portfolio performance Partner with leadership in a lean, experienced underwriting team Ideal Background
6+ years of Workers’ Comp or Primary Casualty lines underwriting experience required Experience with SIR business is required Strong broker relationships and market presence required Professional designations such as CPCU or ARM preferred This is a unique opportunity to join a highly respected underwriting team with strong market visibility and the ability to make a meaningful impact in a specialized segment of the industry.
