Hiring For The Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team Lutheran Family Services is forming a new team in Fremont, Nebraska. The Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team utilizes a multidisciplinary, team-based service delivery model that offers continuous, community-based support to individuals with serious mental illness, particularly those with concurrent substance use issues, frequent hospitalizations, risk of homelessness, involvement with the criminal justice system, and psychiatric crises.
ACT is where care meets the community. Team members engage with individuals in various settings, including the office, homes, streets, shelters, and community spaces. This approach fosters genuine relationships while providing accessible, consistent, compassionate, and deep human support.

Position Summary
The Director of Campus Programming provides leadership and oversight for all programming operating on the Dana Village Campus. This team member identifies, develops, implements, evaluates, and continuously improves campus-based programs, including the redevelopment of Root & Rise programming. The Director collaborates closely with other program leadership to ensure campus programming is impactful, sustainable, and aligned with organizational goals.
Job Duties
Provide leadership and oversight for all Dana Village Campus programming, including current or future campus-based programs.
Lead the rebuilding and ongoing development of Root & Rise, including assessing program needs via needs assessments, redesigning services, and implementing expanded models.
Develop and oversee services for all ages, including health navigation, screenings, social connection programming, structured mentoring opportunities ensuring reduced isolation, improved well-being measured by data‑driven evaluation(s) and resident feedback.
Develop and implement program plans, policies, and procedures that support effective service delivery and positive outcomes.
Collaborate with internal leadership to identify opportunities for new programming, expansion, or innovation based on community need, data, and organizational priorities.
Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate assigned program staff; work in coordination with other managers and supervisors to ensure consistent onsite oversight and communication across roles.
Provide ongoing coaching, leadership, and professional development to ensure staff effectiveness and accountability.
Establish and monitor program outcomes and performance measures; use data to inform continuous quality improvement and provide insights and recommendations to leadership.
Ensure all campus programs comply with applicable regulations, licensing requirements, funding guidelines, and organizational policies.
Manage program budget; monitor expenses and ensure responsible use of resources.
Collaborate on grants, funding proposals, and reporting to support program sustainability.
Partner with internal departments to support staffing, operations, and campus needs.
Build and maintain relationships with community partners, funders, and stakeholders.
Represent campus programming in meetings and community forums as needed.
Ensure a safe, supportive, and trauma-informed environment for program participants.
Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate vision into effective programs.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment.
Strong leadership skills, including coaching and performance management.
Proven ability to manage multiple programs, priorities, and deadlines.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement program improvements.
Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
Able to lead change and navigate ambiguity in a dynamic environment.
Able to utilize the Microsoft Office Suite of products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
Awareness and sensitivity of our constituents and the populations served by our agency.
Participate in Performance & Quality Improvement (PQI) activities as assigned.
Regular and predictable attendance, and promptness for work.

A bachelor’s degree in leadership, social work, public administration, or related field is required. Relevant progressive work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Five+ years progressive experience in human services, housing, or community-based programming.
Experience building and overseeing complex programming and leading program development or redesign preferred.
Valid driver’s license, liability auto insurance, and ability to drive a personal vehicle on a daily basis to transport clients safely within the community.
Physical Requirements
Primarily in‑office position with occasional remote work, as approved by leadership.
Able to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout campus facilities.
Company‑issued laptop and cell phone
Able to travel to various locations to attend meetings, trainings, and community events.
Must be available for evening & weekend hours for community events as needed.
