
RFP / DDQ Associate

Our client, a $50B asset management firm, is seeking a RFP / DDQ Associate to join their team in New York, NY. This group plays a key role in supporting business development and client retention by producing the information investors rely on to evaluate the firm’s strategies, capabilities, and operations.
The team manages and responds to investor due diligence requests across all distribution channels including institutional, intermediary, and RIA. This includes RFPs, DDQs, RFIs, compliance questionnaires such as 15Cs, and other ad hoc investor inquiries. The group also maintains external consultant databases and a centralized knowledge repository covering the firm, its products, and investment strategies.
This role offers strong exposure to the firm’s investment philosophy, products, and operations while collaborating closely with teams across the organization to craft thoughtful, well‑written responses to investor inquiries.
Responsibilities
Manage the RFP and RFI process from start to finish, ensuring deadlines are met and key stakeholders are kept informed throughout the process Draft and refine written responses that are clear, accurate, persuasive, and tailored to investor questions Partner with internal teams across the firm including sales, investment, compliance, legal, trading, and risk analytics to gather information and insights for responses Maintain and update content within the firm’s internal knowledge repository to ensure responses remain current and consistent Support the completion of due diligence questionnaires, compliance questionnaires, and consultant database updates Develop a strong understanding of the firm’s investment strategies, philosophy, and processes in order to communicate them effectively in writing Identify opportunities to improve existing responses and enhance the quality of communication with clients and prospects Manage multiple requests simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and organization Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required 2-6 years of experience within investment management or financial services Experience with financial writing, RFPs, journalism Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong editing capabilities Strong research skills and a high level of intellectual curiosity Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
