AKA NYC is seeking an ambitious Account Supervisor to manage theatrical accounts. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Head of Theater, the Account Supervisor is a full-time exempt position that is based in New York City.

WHAT YOU’LL DO (IN BRIEF): Client Collaboration:

Serve as a primary point of contact for a select number of our theatrical clients.

Campaign management:

Develop and deliver sound campaign strategy and planning across multiple accounts in collaboration with the Group Account Director and/or SVP. Manage ongoing client projects, translating briefs into action, monitoring progress throughout the agency, and ensuring delivery of desired results.

Cross-Department Collaboration:

Develop and maintain excellent working relationships between the Client Services team and other departments. Drive the team to deliver outstanding client service by anticipating, recognizing, and meeting client needs.

Finance Management:

Manage project finances to meet budgetary goals and ensure overall profitability. Ensure weekly billing takes place on all accounts.

Leading & Mentoring:

Oversee the day-to-day work of Account Managers and Coordinators, ensuring high-quality output while supporting the Group Account Director in training, coaching, and developing the team.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

5 – 7 years of experience in a marketing/advertising role (ideally servicing the entertainment industry)

Understands and delivers against financial goals

Proven strategic thinker with the ability to problem solve and trouble shoot

Thorough knowledge of all AKA’s services

Ability to anticipate and deliver client needs

Ability to multitask, make decisions, and manage at entrepreneurial speed

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, as well as Asana

WHAT WE OFFER: The salary range for this position in New York, New York is

$85,000 – 94,999

per year.

The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and years of experience. A discretionary bonus may be provided as part of the total compensation package.
