
Coordinator - Community Relations

The Community Relations Coordinator is responsible for developing and executing strategic communications initiatives that enhance brand visibility, protect company reputation, and support marketing objectives. This role works within the Marketing Department and collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging across media, digital platforms, events, and campaigns.
The ideal candidate understands the unique sensitivities of healthcare communications, including patient privacy, regulatory compliance, and community impact.
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field preferred but not required
3–7 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or related marketing role
Proven track record of securing media coverage and executing PR campaigns
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong media relationship-building experience
Strategic thinking with ability to align PR initiatives to marketing goals
Experience with media monitoring and analytics tools
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Crisis communication experience preferred
