Responsibilities
Work with Estimators/Project Managers and supervisors to facilitate successful completion of all phases of construction projects preconstruction to completion
Coordinate team members, equipment needs, and material requirements for construction projects and work closely with Project Managers to ensure smooth operations
Oversee the recruitment of new team members and help foremen with crew development
Administer the continuous and multi-disciplinary training of all construction personnel
Coordinate with team members and subcontractors to ensure all work is within project scope and specifications
Coordinate with engineers, inspectors and clients/owner representatives to ensure safe and timely completion of projects
Develop and maintain resource-loaded master construction schedule identifying project assignments for key team members
Coordinate with Project Managers/Estimators to accomplish timely project procurementAssist with the development of project schedules and monitor production to ensure timely, high quality project completion
Maintain project schedule once developed and track job productivity to make resource allocation decisions
Help develop 3-week schedule for foremen and Project Managers
Review schedules with each project foreman and track productivity
Review daily cost reports and adjust operations as needed
Conduct regular safety meetings and help address areas requiring attention and meet the safety culture established
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
10 plus years of related construction experience in highway/paving/concrete/construction
Working knowledge of job cost accounting and estimating
Strong leadership skills with high integrity
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Strong prioritization and organizational skills
Current driver's license
