Role Description Servelle Hospitality Group is seeking a creative and motivated
Social Media Marketing Intern
to support the company’s digital presence and brand growth. This part-time, on-site role in the Greater Houston area will focus on creating engaging social media content, supporting marketing campaigns, and helping showcase Servelle’s hospitality services, events, and culinary offerings online.
The intern will assist with developing and executing social media strategies, capturing event content, and promoting Servelle’s services across digital platforms. This role is ideal for someone interested in
hospitality marketing, event marketing, and brand storytelling .
Key Responsibilities
Assist with planning and executing social media strategies across platforms such as
Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook
Create engaging content including
photos, reels, short-form videos, and captions
that highlight events, catering, and hospitality services
Capture behind-the-scenes content at events, tastings, and company activities
Schedule posts and maintain a consistent content calendar
Monitor social media engagement and assist with responding to comments and messages
Track social media performance and assist with basic analytics reporting
Stay up to date on social media trends and recommend creative content ideas
Support marketing initiatives that promote Servelle’s services including
catering, event staffing, party rentals, and event planning
Qualifications
Experience or interest in
social media marketing and content creation
Knowledge of
digital marketing principles and social media platforms
Strong
written and verbal communication skills
Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for
hospitality and events
Familiarity with
social media analytics or performance metrics
is a plus
Basic knowledge of
design tools (Canva, Adobe Express, etc.) or video editing apps
is beneficial
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in
Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field
Ability to work collaboratively in a
fast-paced and creative environment
