Role Description As a full-time Marketing Intern, you will support the planning, promotion, and execution of marketing initiatives for the MoCo B2B Expo. Responsibilities include conducting market research, developing marketing strategies, crafting promotional materials, maintaining communication with exhibitors and sponsors, and assisting customers with inquiries. You will play a key role in coordinating event-related tasks and collaborating with the team to ensure seamless operations. This is an remote position based in the Washington DC-Baltimore area.
Qualifications
Strong Communication and Customer Service skills with the ability to engage effectively with exhibitors, sponsors, and attendees
Experience in Market Research and Marketing Strategy to support event promotion and community engagement
Sales expertise with the ability to assist in outreach, partnership development, and sponsorship coordination
Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in digital tools such as social media platforms, email marketing software, and Microsoft Office
Proactive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with event planning or small business networking is a plus
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
