
Freelance Graphic Designer

A Graphic Designer creates visual concepts using computer software or by hand to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers. They produce layouts, logos, branding, and marketing materials for digital and print media, collaborating with teams to meet brand standards and deadlines. A portfolio, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and other platforms along with relevant degree are typically required. We will want this person relatively close to Greensboro in order to meet at times and strategies projects and concepts.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Concepts: Create original visual concepts using tools like Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Canva)
Design Assets: Design logos, website graphics, social media posts, marketing materials, and branding materials
Collaborate & Present: Work with marketing, creative directors, and clients to interpret needs and present completed designs
Brand Adherence: Ensure all materials align with established brand guidelines and quality standards
Manage Projects: Handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field
Technical Skills: Proficiency with design software (Canva, InDesign, Illustrator, and Figma) and strong knowledge of typography, layout, and color theory
Portfolio: A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing creative work
Communication: Excellent communication skills to discuss, explain, and iterate on design concepts
Experience: Requires 5 - 10 years of experience in graphic design or marketing environments free lancing
