Role Overview The Digital Marketplace Account Manager is responsible for driving BabyBjörn’s digital marketplace business across North America. This role leads the end-to-end commercial relationship with Amazon (US, CA, MX) and other key digital marketplaces, driving revenue growth, brand integrity, and operational excellence. Reporting to the General Manager, North America, this is a high-impact individual contributor role with significant ownership and visibility.

Key Responsibilities Amazon & Marketplace Management

Manage BabyBjörn’s Amazon business across the US, Canada, and Mexico (Vendor Central and/or Seller Central)

Develop and execute annual joint business plans with Amazon category teams

Lead all marketplace relationships, assortments, and results, including but not limited to Amazon, Walmart.com, and emerging marketplace partners

Monitor and maintain brand standards, pricing integrity (MAP compliance), and content quality across all marketplace platforms in partnership with our Global D2C team.

Sales & Revenue Growth

Build and execute short- and long-term sales strategies to grow marketplace revenue in line with company goals

Identify new marketplace opportunities, distribution channels, and growth levers

Develop promotional strategies and collaborate to maximize trade spend ROI with NA Performance Marketing Manager

Collaborate with the broader Sales team to ensure cohesive channel strategy and avoid conflict

Actively manage and execute catalog integrity according to NA segmentation strategy

Digital Shelf & Content Excellence

Partner with NA Marketing Team and Global Marketplace team to ensure best-in-class product detail pages, A+ content, brand stores, and digital assets across all platforms

Analyze and act on search performance, ratings & reviews, and competitive positioning

Ensure new product launches are executed with excellence across all marketplace channels

Maintain catalog integrity working with Global Product Safety and Compliance team to ensure all product certifications are current, listed, and adhere to retail partner needs

Operations & Forecasting

Collaborate with supply chain and operations to manage inventory health, in-stock rates, and fulfillment requirements specific to marketplace platforms

Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to overall demand planning

Manage chargebacks, shortages, and compliance requirements specific to marketplace operations

Analytics & Reporting

Track and report on key marketplace KPIs including sales, market share, traffic, conversion, and profitability

Leverage data tools (e.g., retail and seller platforms) to generate actionable insights

Present business reviews and strategic recommendations to senior leadership

Qualifications Required

2-4+ years of experience in digital marketplace or e-commerce sales, with demonstrated Amazon expertise (Vendor Central and/or Seller Central)

Proven track record of growing a brand’s Amazon or marketplace business in a consumer products environment

Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to translate complex data into clear strategic decisions and actions

Highly commercial approach, with strong business acumen and the ability to balance revenue growth, profitability, and brand positioning

Cross functional mindset and way of working, collaborating effectively with marketing, operations, and Global teams to drive aligned outcome

Experience with MAP enforcement, brand registry, and managing unauthorized sellers

Familiarity with digital shelf management tools and retail media platforms (Amazon DSP, Sponsored Products/Brands)

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

Preferred

Experience in the juvenile products, baby, or premium consumer goods category

Familiarity with cross-border marketplace management (Canada and/or Mexico)

Experience working with international brands or parent companies

Proficiency tracking, interpreting, and actioning data related to wholesale sales in and retail sales out

Bilingual (Spanish) a +
