Job Summary EnSight Technologies is seeking an experienced Truck Stop and Transportation Sales Professional to drive the expansion of our camera‑based vehicle counting and parking management systems into the truck stop and transportation sectors. This full‑time role focuses on selling our innovative TPAS/TPIMS solutions to privately owned truck stops and Department of Transportation (DOT) agencies managing public truck stops. The ideal candidate will leverage their industry knowledge and sales expertise to build relationships, close deals, and contribute to our mission of delivering reliable, scalable parking and transportation technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and prospect potential clients in the truck stop and transportation industries, including privately owned truck stops and state/federal DOTs for public facilities.
Speerhead RFP responses for DOT truck stop parking availability systems across North America.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers, understanding their needs for truck parking availability, occupancy management, and guidance systems.
Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and consultations to showcase EnSight's camera‑based solutions, including EnSight Eyes for accurate vehicle counting and integrated TPAS/TPIMS features.
Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product development, and marketing) to tailor solutions that meet client specifications and ensure seamless implementation.
Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets through strategic pipeline management, negotiation, and contract closure.
Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and competitive landscapes in truck parking and transportation to position EnSight as a market leader.
Travel to client sites, trade shows, and industry events as needed (up to 50% travel).
Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and feedback to leadership to support business growth.
Qualifications
Proven track record in sales, with at least 3-5 years of experience selling technology solutions to the transportation, logistics, or parking industries.
Familiarity with selling to privately owned truck stops and DOT agencies; experience in truck parking management or related fields is highly preferred.
Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong understanding of camera-based systems, parking occupancy technologies, or TPAS/TPIMS; technical aptitude to learn and articulate complex products.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.
Required Skills and Attributes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and closing skills, with a hunter mentality for new business development.
Proficiency in software tools such as HubSpot, PandaDoc, and Google.
