
Real Estate Paralegal

One of California’s top real estate law firms is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to support attorneys throughout all stages of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, and financing matters. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
The paralegal will play a key role in preparing transaction documents, coordinating closings, conducting due diligence, and supporting post-closing activities.
Location & Schedule
Hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in office; first 90 days fully in office for training; 8-hour workday with flexible start time
Key Responsibilities Transaction Support
Prepare and maintain closing checklists
Draft first versions of purchase agreements, loan documents, leases, amendments, and related real estate documents
Review documents for completeness, missing information, and accuracy
Coordinate with clients, lenders, title companies, and third parties
Prepare closing instructions and assist with settlement statements
Assemble and finalize documents for execution and recording
Title, Survey, and Zoning
Review title commitments and exception documents
Prepare title objection letters and summary memos
Request and review title insurance policies
Review surveys and coordinate revisions
Order and review zoning reports
Leasing Support
Draft leases and lease amendments based on agreed business terms
Prepare consents, assignment documents, and related leasing materials
Entity and Organizational Documents
Form entities and file documents with state agencies
Obtain EINs and good standing certificates
Prepare resolutions and organizational consents
Coordinate multi-state filings and registrations
Closing and Post-Closing
Coordinate execution of documents
File UCC financing statements and related filings
Track recorded documents and title policies
Prepare closing binders
Required Experience
Minimum 3+ years of paralegal experience
Must meet California statutory requirements for paralegal classification
