Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in East Providence, RI, for a Creative Visual & Content Designer. The role involves designing engaging content across multiple platforms, developing and implementing content strategies, conducting research to support creative concepts, and managing content in various formats. The Creative Visual & Content Designer will collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency in messaging and visual identity while meeting project deadlines in a dynamic agency environment.
Creative Direction & Visual Design
Develop visually engaging assets for monthly campaigns, aligning with client branding (this could include Print, digital, billboard, social media, or any form of design a client needs for internal or external comms - could be for organic or paid campaigns)
Logo designs or upgrades
Web design through mockups, WordPress styling, and UI/UX using FIGMA
Maintain consistency across all design touchpoints
Content Creation & Multimedia
Capture and edit photo and video content for use in campaigns, social, and web
Edit short-form videos (e.g., social reels, YouTube etc)
Animate promotional content for digital signage and social platforms
Assist on location with content shoots and/or TV video/photo shoots
Could include pre and post action items
Social Media & Marketing Collaboration
Work with social media associates to create scroll-stopping content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok etc
Collaborate with the team to develop and execute monthly creative calendars—determining what assets are needed and helping produce them
Design campaign visuals and teaser clips for campaigns and events—paid or organic
Team Communication & Workflow
Participate in creative reviews and provide/receive feedback on visual work
Manage your design files, organize layered PSDs, and keep folders clean and accessible for team use
Use internal project management tools to track creative requests and asset delivery—SLACK, GOOGLE DRIVE
Key Skills & Tools You’ll Use
Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign, Premiere Pro)
WordPress, Canva, Figma (you can learn it)
Google Drive, Slack
Strong eye for layout, animation pacing, and modern visual trends
AI Mid Journey, Hendra, Chatgpt
Qualifications
Expertise in Content Design and visual storytelling with a strong design sense
Proficiency in Content Strategy, including planning, creation, and execution
Strong Communication skills for team collaboration and presenting concepts
Experience in conducting Research and gathering insights to elevate content quality
Content Management skills, with familiarity in managing digital content across platforms
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and knowledge of web design principles
Capability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Prior experience in a marketing or advertising agency is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred
