Job Title: Instructional Designer II (Instructional & Graphic Design) Duration: Contract through September 16, 2026 (with potential extension) Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Instructional Designer II to support the design and development of integrated instructional and communication materials that bring company playbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions to life across print, digital, video, and mobile platforms.

This role requires strong expertise in instructional design, content development, and visual communication. The ideal candidate will manage projects from concept to completion—working closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to create clear, engaging, and visually compelling learning materials that support operational processes and training initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop instructional and communication materials supporting company playbooks, SOPs, work instructions, and training programs.

Create structured learning content including lesson plans, presentations, participant guides, microlearning modules, and assessments.

Manage end-to-end content production workflows, including timelines, version control, stakeholder collaboration, and project status reporting.

Develop high-quality visual and multimedia assets, including graphics, icons, infographics, and animations to enhance learning engagement.

Write and edit clear, concise training content and narration scripts for digital learning experiences.

Design interactive presentations and advanced PowerPoint learning experiences using animations, transitions, and navigation features.

Organize and publish deliverables in enterprise repositories, ensuring proper documentation and archival processes.

Ensure all materials align with brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and usability best practices.

Facilitate stakeholder review sessions and user testing, gather feedback, and incorporate SME input into revisions.

Translate complex operational or technical processes into clear instructional formats and visual diagrams.

Monitor training material adoption and effectiveness, recommending continuous improvements based on feedback and analytics.

Provide basic troubleshooting support for digital learning assets and production files.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience designing and developing instructional, training, or corporate communication materials.

Strong experience producing digital, print, and multimedia learning content.

Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex information into clear, engaging instructional content.

Proven ability to collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and cross-functional stakeholders.

Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced production environment.

Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.

Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

Technical Skills Design & Production Tools

Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro)

Productivity & Collaboration Tools

Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams)

Learning Development Tools

Articulate or other eLearning authoring tools

Familiarity with video editing or multimedia production tools

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience organizing and simplifying large documentation libraries or technical content repositories.

Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and modern visual design practices.

Experience measuring training content performance and adoption analytics.

Portfolio demonstrating strong instructional design and visual communication work
