Job Summary Horizon Roofing is hiring Commercial Roofers for an upcoming project located in the ND/MN area, scheduled to run from March 2026 through August 2026. This position involves working with experienced crews to install and repair commercial roofing systems. The work is physical, performed outdoors, and offers overtime throughout the project duration.
Due to confidentiality requirements, the exact project location will be disclosed later in the interview process. This is a temporary, project-based role with the potential for continued employment following project completion. Relocation assistance may be available.
Responsibilities
Install and repair commercial roofing systems
Perform tear-offs and roof preparation
Load, unload, and stage tools, equipment, and materials
Install insulation, adhesives, primers, seams, and edge details
Follow fastening patterns and manufacturer specifications
Operate power tools and rooftop equipment safely
Maintain clean and organized job sites
Follow direction from Foreman and crew leads
Communicate effectively and work safely at heights
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Overtime and extended work hours as required
Qualifications
Roofing or construction experience preferred
Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights
Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. and perform physical labor
Reliable transportation
Safety-minded, dependable, and detail-oriented
Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
Willingness to work outdoors seasonally
Must successfully complete pre-employment requirements prior to starting work, including a post-offer physical exam, drug screening, and background check
Compensation
$25-$50 per hour , depending on experience
Per diem
Overtime opportunities are available during active project phases, based on business needs.
