Key job responsibilities
Define and execute the strategic vision for our Food clients, distilling diverse inputs from large customer segments and stakeholders to set direction and achieve consensus on priorities.
Design long‑term strategies and mechanisms that address unique industry needs.
Partner across organizations (Retail, AWS, Prime Video, Sports, Music, Twitch, Creators) to ensure the vertical is set up for success with integrated solutions.
Stay abreast of Grocery industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging advertising innovations both inside and outside Amazon.
Manage a team of 6+ direct reports.
Attract, hire, and retain top sales talent and consultative selling capabilities.
Enable your team to exceed sales, pricing, and yield goals.
Create and implement sales programs, tools, and mechanisms that increase team performance and scale across the vertical.
Foster an inclusive culture where every team member feels valued, trusted, and connected.
Basic Qualifications
Experience reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals.
Experience in sales team management.
Experience in written and oral communication, including the ability to communicate with all levels in the organization (technical, business, executive).
Experience working across teams and influencing teams that are not your own.
Experience in marketing, brand advertising, media sales, or online advertising and close work with senior advertisers and agency stakeholders.
Experience demonstrating strong analytical abilities and confidence in the use of data.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience driving the sales management process as well as playing a hands‑on role in driving sales.
Experience interacting with a broad set of businesses and presenting both over the phone and in person.
6+ years of grocery leadership, or 6+ years of customer‑facing retail, hospitality, or grocery industry experience.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
