Compliance Team Support
Provide general support to BAE Systems Space & Mission Systems (SMS) Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Compliance Team. Supports supplier onboarding and maintenance requirements under the general direction of the SMS Local Data Steward Administrator. Maintains supplier databases and coordinates with stakeholders across the organization. Interprets regulations as they apply to financial processes and other processes, practices and procedures. Investigates and resolves compliance problems or complaints received from internal/external customers, government regulatory agencies, etc. Implements policies and procedures to ensure that these are in compliance with the appropriate statutes and regulations. May audit and evaluate current policies, procedures, and documentation for compliance with government laws and regulations. Based on assignment, employee may perform the following functions: Assist in the identification of strategies and opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency and manage supplier risk through strategic and targeted negotiations; contribute to program risk and opportunity management. Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the programs supported, the supplier base and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment. Support cross-functional ISC team efforts. Review and validate supplier onboarding information and questionnaires and other required supplier records for completion and accuracy and enter information into databases and ERP systems. Enter information into portal to integrate in ERP. Create, maintain, and distribute department reports and metrics. Administer and maintain supplier performance system. Provide training and support for portal to both internal and external users Attend organization and team meetings. Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule. Bachelor's degree plus 2 or more years related experience. Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education. Full-Time Salary Range: $56401 - $95881.
