Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an International Trade Compliance Analyst - Level 2 or 3 to join our team. This position will be located in one of the following locations: Boulder CO; Colorado Springs CO; Redondo Beach CA; San Diego CA; McLean VA; Dulles VA; or Linthicum MD. This position can be filled at either a Level 2 or 3. In this job, you will: Develop and manage comprehensive internal export controls to ensure compliance with US and foreign regulations in the conduct of international marketing, sales, supply chain and other business activities. Establish business processes for submitting to and obtaining from the US government all necessary export and import licenses, permits, certifications, and technology release determinations. Establish operational processes for assuring trade compliance through gate reviews for technical data, foreign travel, foreign visits and export and import shipments. Conduct contract and proposal reviews and provides appropriate guidance and licensing strategy. Maintain applicable trade compliance records in accordance with regulatory requirements. Support law department in investigating and resolving compliance problems, questions, or complaints. Participate in cross-functional and/or cross sector working groups and projects as assigned. Basic Qualifications: Level 2: Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant professional experience in export compliance - OR - Master's degree with 1+ years of relevant professional experience in export compliance. Level 3: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant professional experience in export compliance - OR - Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant professional experience in export compliance. Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree. Knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and other US Government Regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior management. Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal guidance and supervision. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance. US Citizenship is a prerequisite. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the use of ITAR exemptions and EAR exceptions. Experience in Commodity Jurisdiction and Classification analysis. Proficient in the use of the OCR EASE software. Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance. US Citizenship is a prerequisite.
