Admissions & Marketing Manager

California Coast University, located in Santa Ana, CA is an employee-owned educational institution with excellent retirement and benefit plans. We are currently hiring for a full-time onsite Admissions & Marketing Manager.

We are looking for an experienced, professional, and highly motivated individual to be responsible for leading and integrating the institution’s admissions, marketing, and outreach efforts to support student recruitment and enrollment growth. This role oversees the admissions team and manages marketing initiatives that attract, engage, and convert prospective students from initial inquiry through enrollment.

The position requires a strategic and data-driven leader who can manage admissions operations, marketing campaigns, and external partnerships while analyzing performance metrics such as lead generation, conversion rates, and enrollment yield. The Admissions & Marketing Manager works closely with internal departments, external marketing vendors, and lead-generation partners to promote the institution’s programs, develop new recruitment channels and partnerships, and strengthen the prospective student pipeline.

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week. Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. This position is NOT remote.

Responsibilities

Oversee the full admissions lifecycle from inquiry through enrollment, ensuring consistent follow-up and engagement with prospective students.

Supervise the admissions team, establish performance goals, and monitor progress toward institutional enrollment targets.

Monitor and analyze key performance metrics including lead generation, conversion rates, enrollment yield, and campaign performance.

Identify and develop strategic partnerships, referral channels, and outreach opportunities that expand and support enrollment growth.

Manage relationships with marketing partners and lead-generation vendors to support recruitment initiatives.

Produce regular analytics reports and use data insights to optimize marketing strategies and admissions outcomes.

Evaluate marketing return on investment (ROI) and recommend improvements to increase lead quality and enrollment results.

Conduct market research to inform recruitment strategies and forecasting.

Maintain consistent branding across all marketing communications.

Collaborate with internal departments to support all marketing efforts and regulatory compliance.

Plan and execute recruitment and marketing campaigns across digital, email, web, print, and social media channels.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.

Experience in admissions, enrollment management, outreach, consultative sales, and/or business development. (3‑5 years)

Experience supporting or managing marketing campaigns, digital marketing initiatives, or recruitment strategies.

Experience working with marketing agencies, lead‑generation vendors, or referral networks preferred.

Experience supervising/leading teams.

Demonstrated success in recruiting, lead conversion, or enrollment growth.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Ability for brief travel.

Ability to lift 20 lbs., walk, stand, and bend for periods of time.
