We are expanding our New York team and looking for a Sales Executive / Business Developer who can help accelerate our growth and strengthen our network of professional partners.

Role Overview As a Sales Executive / Business Developer, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the high‑end residential market. You will build and nurture strong relationships with architects, interior designers, general contractors, MEP engineers, lighting designers, and other key industry stakeholders.
Your mission is twofold: Grow a solid network of project referrers and clients and successfully manage incoming opportunities from initial discovery through contract signature.
This is a client‑facing, strategic, and highly autonomous role reporting directly to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities Business Development & Networking
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the NYC high‑end residential market.
Build, maintain, and expand a network of architects, GCs, premium builders, interior designers, MEP engineers, and lighting designers.
Organize and participate in networking events, presentations, showroom visits, and other business‑generation activities.
Represent HENRI at industry shows, design fairs, and partner events.
Project Acquisition & Qualification
Lead discovery meetings with clients, architects, and project teams to assess needs and define scopes.
Translate client/architect requirements into clear briefs for the internal engineering & design team.
Collaborate closely with the engineering department to develop accurate proposals and solutions.
Sales Process Management
Present proposals to clients and project teams in a compelling and structured way.
Handle revisions, value engineering, and negotiations.
Drive opportunities through to signed contracts while ensuring client satisfaction and proper alignment with the project scope.
Internal Collaboration
Report regularly to the CEO on pipeline, forecasts, and strategic opportunities.
Work closely with engineering, operations, and procurement teams to ensure project continuity.
Contribute to refining our commercial strategy in the U.S. market.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience in sales, preferably in one of the following sectors: AV integration, high‑end residential construction, architectural products, luxury design, or related fields.
Strong existing network in NYC’s design and construction ecosystem is a strong plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into client‑friendly explanations.
Autonomous, proactive, and comfortable managing long and complex sales cycles.
Strong organizational skills.
Passion for design, architecture, and premium technology solutions.
