Senior Producer, Events
Stand Together, Inc., Arlington, VA, United States
Stand Together
is a philanthropic community that helps America’s boldest changemakers tackle the root causes of our country’s biggest problems, from education to the economy, broken communities, and toxic division, among dozens of other pressing issues. We provide our partners with access to resources including funding, thought leadership, a network of peers, and a playbook for applying proven principles to transform lives and society.
As a Senior Creative Producer, Live Events, you will lead the creative production for a wide range of high-profile events, virtual productions, and live programming across the Stand Together community. In this role, you will produce engaging experiences that bring sessions and events to life on stage, in virtual environments, and through immersive activations.
Partnering closely with the Creative and Events teams, you will shape the overall creative production and audience experience in alignment with programming themes and priority initiatives. This includes leading recommendations for stage design, show flow, run of show development, content integration, technical direction, and the execution of creative elements such as design, video, stage visuals, lighting, and A/V.
Success in this role requires combining creative vision with strong production expertise, thriving in fast-paced environments that balance strategy, hands‑on execution, and stakeholder collaboration. You will guide projects from initial concept through final cue, working closely with event strategists, creative teams, and technical vendors to ensure every element is seamlessly integrated and delivered within the live event environment. This role reports to the Supervising Producer. Please note, this is not a broadcast or television production role.

Partner with event leads and stakeholders to translate event goals and programming storylines into compelling live experiences, ensuring alignment on audience experience, environmental layout, tone, and key takeaways while identifying opportunities for new formats and technologies that scale impact.
Develop and produce live show content by overseeing scenic and A/V elements, building run of show documents, leading show calls and rehearsals, coaching speakers, and ensuring high‑quality production execution.
Serve as the primary creative producer for assigned events and sessions, bringing together storytelling, design, lighting, sound, and multimedia to craft cohesive, engaging experiences.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors (production companies, staging, A/V, scenic design, etc.) to deliver high‑quality events that meet budget, timeline, and creative expectations, guiding show direction onsite and calling cues to ensure seamless execution.
Guide speakers and onstage talent through scripting, show flow, and stage movement, working closely with VIPs in high‑pressure environments.
Synthesize feedback from multiple stakeholders while maintaining clarity of vision and adapting to evolving event needs.
Provide regular project updates, manage production timelines, and proactively identify challenges and opportunities for improvement.
Uphold brand and messaging consistency across all event elements, ensuring each moment reflects overall event themes.
Foster collaboration, curiosity, and continuous improvement across the production process, consistently innovating and pitching recommendations to advance creative production.
What You Will Bring
5+ years of experience producing live events, conferences, summits, or broadcast‑style productions (agency, corporate, nonprofit, or creative studio experience preferred).
Proven ability to lead live show production from concept through execution, including developing creative strategy, managing budgets, directing crews, show calling live cues, and delivering polished events.
Experience coordinating creative assets across multiple teams (design, video, A/V, staging, and environmental production) to support live event programming.
Strong storytelling instincts and a keen sense of pacing within live environments, crafting cohesive narratives through speakers, visuals, and sound.
