STAHL Companies provides the Program Management for its Channel of Commercial Technology companies in Government that consist of Small Businesses and New Technology start‑ups. STAHL advocates for policies that can improve government services and maintain our government's competitive advantage by bringing more technology into government programs. STAHL Companies advocates on behalf of our nation's innovative, new technology and small businesses looking to work with the U.S. government. We align the voice of our small business members with advocacy for change in federal policy that will make the government market more accessible to small businesses and the commercial technology ecosystem. The Channel's founding Technical Board Members include former government leaders and IT executives passionate about bringing best‑of‑breed technology to the government.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Public Relations Specialist to join our team. The Public Relations Specialist is responsible for promoting and managing the public image of individuals, groups, or organizations. This role involves crafting, selecting, and distributing materials to various communication channels to ensure a consistent and positive public presence.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement public relations strategies to enhance the organization’s image.

Write, edit, and distribute press releases, articles, speeches, and other communications.

Coordinate media relations, including responding to inquiries and arranging interviews.

Monitor media coverage and public opinion related to the organization.

Organize events, campaigns, or promotional activities to engage target audiences.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across platforms.

Utilize social media and digital platforms to support PR initiatives.

Qualifications

Proven experience in public relations, communications, or a related field.

Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge of media relations, marketing, and social media platforms.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Creative thinking and problem‑solving skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred.
