Overview The

Key Account Manager (KAM)-Direct Sales

is responsible for managing key customer accounts, maintaining long‑term relationships, and maximizing sales opportunities within these accounts.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions

Create, build, and maintain positive business relationships with existing and new Vestis customers

Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profits from existing Regional, Multi‑Location, and Single Location Strategic Accounts

Expected to travel up to 20%

B2B inside sales experience

Demonstrate the ability to manage an established book of business at the strategic level

Continuously look for growth opportunities within the current client portfolio

Always be aware of acquisitions and divestitures that potentially could impact the revenue stream for the clients in their portfolio

Experience/Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Demonstrated experience and ability to provide excellent customer service

Possess patience, ability to empathize, and strong listening skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong attention to detail, highly organized, with good time management skills

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and conflict resolution skills

Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment

Demonstrated capability to influence without authority

Keen ability to challenge the status quo and build strong relationships both internally and externally

Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency

Ability to analyze data

Able to present to all levels of the client, including C‑suite

Successful completion of Criminal Background and Motor Vehicle Record checks
