Position Summary FlyUSA is seeking a Charter Sales Advisor to join our team and support the continued growth of our Part 135 charter operations. In this role, you will work directly with charter brokers and clients to quote, negotiate, and close charter flights for FlyUSA’s fleet. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced sales environment, understands the urgency of the charter market, and has the ability to quickly evaluate trip opportunities and convert them into booked flights while maintaining strong relationships across the industry.
Core Responsibilities
Charter Sales: Respond to charter inquiries, prepare competitive quotes, and actively work to close charter flights for FlyUSA’s aircraft fleet.
Broker Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with charter brokers and repeat clients to generate consistent charter demand.
Fleet Optimization: Work closely with operations and scheduling teams to strategically position aircraft, maximize revenue legs, and reduce empty legs.
Pricing Strategy: Evaluate trip opportunities and develop competitive pricing while protecting owner revenue and company margins.
Self‑Sourced Sales: Proactively generate charter demand through personal relationships and industry outreach. Advisors are expected to originate at least two self‑sourced trips per month that are booked at market pricing.
Trip Coordination: Ensure trip details are communicated clearly to internal teams and clients to support seamless trip execution.
Market Awareness: Monitor charter market trends, aircraft availability, and industry activity to maintain competitive positioning.
Minimum Requirements
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in private aviation charter sales, brokerage, or a related aviation role.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with brokers and clients.
Sales Mindset: Ability to work quickly, respond with urgency, and consistently pursue opportunities to close charter business.
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple charter opportunities simultaneously.
Tech‑Savvy: Experience working with aviation platforms such as Avinode, JetInsight, Air Mail, or similar tools is preferred.
Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on charter demand.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Part 135 Charter Sales: Previous experience selling charter flights for a Part 135 operator or brokerage.
Industry Relationships: Existing relationships with charter brokers or wholesale clients within the private aviation market.
Aircraft Familiarity: Knowledge of common charter aircraft categories including light jets, midsize jets, and turboprops.
