Sr Director EHS&S [RW-14542]

A leading beverage manufacturing organization is seeking a Sr. EHS&S Director to provide leadership to its EHS strategy and assist the company in achieving world-class EHS&S performance, based out of the Modesto, CA area.
Working closely with the C-Suite team, the Sr. EHS Director will drive EHS&S excellence across the organization. This role will oversee 3 direct reports and an overall team of 5.
The role:
- The Sr. Director will provide executive level leadership for EHS activities within all company business units.
- This individual will lead EHS across the entire organization and provide leadership and technical expertise to meet all business and company EHS objectives.
- Plan and implement safety policies and procedures, leading compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT.
- Plan and implement EHS programs, train supervisors, managers and employees in work site safety practices and correct handling techniques for chemical hazards, machine guarding, etc.
- Act as company's SME on all things Environmental and Health & Safety.
- Oversee and guide the Security management program of people and assets.
The candidate:
- BA/BS degree in science, engineering or related discipline
- Master's degree in a relevant field of study preferred
- 15+ years of progressive EHS experience within the Beverage manufacturing industry, or other highly-regulated industries (Pharma, O&G, Chemicals, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership position is required.
- Strong knowledge of CalEPA and CalOSHA regulations.
- Expertise in EPA regulations, including Air Quality, Wastewater, and Groundwater.
- Demonstrated experience of successful EHS program management across multiple sites.
