About the Role

We are seeking a highly strategic and metric-driven Director of Supply Chain Management to lead and optimize all supply chain operations under the VP of Supply Chain.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for full-cycle supply chain oversight—including sourcing, logistics, inventory management, vendor relations, compliance, and operational efficiency. The Director will directly manage 15–25 team members within a department of 30–35 and oversee multi-million-dollar budgets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all supply chain operations including purchasing, vendor selection, logistics, and distribution of materials/equipment
  • Conduct forecasting, needs assessments, and operational planning with site leaders and corporate stakeholders
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to improve productivity, cost-effectiveness, and quality
  • Implement inventory management tools and methodologies to optimize storage, repair, and vendor relationships
  • Drive collaboration across suppliers, third-party partners, and internal teams
  • Ensure compliance, documentation accuracy, and adherence to safety standards
  • Manage and report on multi-million-dollar budgets and performance metrics
  • Lead major organizational change initiatives, including supply chain redesign and process improvement efforts

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 10+ years of supply chain management experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in aviation OR healthcare supply chain operations
  • Experience managing at least 15 direct reports and multi-million-dollar budgets
  • Strong analytical skills and financial acumen
  • Deep knowledge of sourcing, logistics, inventory control, and vendor management
  • Experience with compliance, documentation, and safety standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a related field
  • Experience in both aviation AND healthcare supply chain operations
  • Professional certifications (CSCP, CPIM, CPSM)
  • Six Sigma, Lean, or advanced process improvement training
  • Experience leading major organizational change or supply chain redesign initiatives
  • Background with major industry organizations such as Honeywell, Boeing, MD Helicopters, HonorHealth, Banner Health, or Mayo Clinic
