All for One, One for All (AOOA) is a 6 years old mission‑driven nonprofit organization operating a farm, café, farm stand, and distillery in Goshen, NY. Rooted in agriculture, education, hospitality, and community engagement, AOOA integrates sustainable farming practices with culinary excellence and cultural programming.
This newly created position is the result of our rapid growth. It is a great opportunity to help shape the future of an already successful but very young organization.
The Executive Director will report to Alix Daguin, the CEO, and work closely with culinary, farm, hospitality, and administrative teams (6 to 10 people depending on the seasons). They will serve as the strategic and operational leader of the organization, overseeing all aspects of mission execution, financial stewardship, team leadership, programming, and growth. This role requires both visionary thinking and hands‑on management capability.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the strategic vision of AOOA in alignment with its mission and values.
- Identify growth opportunities across farm operations, retail, hospitality, education, and events.
- Strengthen the organization’s brand identity and community presence.
Operational Oversight
- Supervise daily operations across the farm, café, farm stand, distillery, and special events.
- Ensure operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and quality control.
- Establish and refine systems for inventory, purchasing, scheduling, and reporting.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Work with bookkeeping and accounting professionals to maintain accurate financial records.
- Report regularly to the Board on financial performance.
- Lead fundraising initiatives including grants, sponsorships, events, and donor cultivation.
- Develop relationships with community partners, foundations, and supporters.
- Support long‑term capital planning and sustainability efforts.
- Recruit, manage, and mentor staff across multiple departments.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, hospitality, accountability, and excellence.
- Oversee performance management and professional development.
Community Engagement & Programming
- Develop educational workshops, culinary events, and community programming aligned with the organization’s mission.
- Build partnerships with local farms, producers, schools, and cultural institutions.
Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience in nonprofit management, hospitality, food systems, agriculture, or a related field.
- Strong financial literacy and experience managing budgets.
- Demonstrated fundraising or development experience preferred.
- Operational experience in multi‑revenue stream environments (retail, food service, events, agriculture) highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands‑on involvement.
- Passion for sustainable agriculture, food culture, and community-building.

Compensation:
- Salary around $100 K, commensurate with experience.
