Overview

Washington Gorge Action Programs (WAGAP) is seeking a passionate and experienced leader to serve as our next Executive Director.

For 60 years, WAGAP has supported communities in Klickitat and Skamania Counties by addressing basic needs like food, housing stability, and energy assistance. Our mission is simple but powerful: strengthening community through connection, collaboration and action.

This role is an opportunity to lead a dedicated team, build strong partnerships across the Columbia Gorge, and help guide the strategic direction of a long-standing Community Action Agency working to reduce poverty and expand opportunity in rural communities.

Responsibilities

• Leading overall strategy and daily operations of the organization
• Supervising and supporting Program Directors and staff teams
• Managing grants, budgets, and fundraising efforts
• Building partnerships and representing WAGAP in the community
• Advocating for policies and initiatives that support low-income communities
