Raytheon is seeking a Director Business Development for Integrated Air and Missile Defense programs on the Naval Power Requirements and Capabilities team. The Director collaborates across Raytheon to expand Naval Power sensors, effectors, and networked capabilities in support of Golden Dome America and similar integrated air and missile defense programs. The Director develops, gains leadership approval and aggressively executes campaign strategies in close coordination with the Raytheon Naval Power Requirements & Capabilities Vice President. The Director will develop and maintain relationships with domestic and international customers on complex integrated air and missile defense solutions.

What You Will Do

  • Identify, develop and assess new opportunities
  • Build and maintain business relationships with current and potential customers to include interface with COCOM and numbered fleet IAMD cells
  • Provide subject matter expertise on integrated air and missile defense operations and programs
  • Provide subject matter expertise on naval operations
  • Participate in the development of strategic plans and strategies
  • Collaborate with RTX Global Government Relations (GGR) at the Federal, State, and Local levels on Public Policy
  • Approximately 30% domestic and international travel

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 14 years’ experience with naval radars, naval shipboard systems, and associated naval operations, or an Advanced Degree and minimum of 12 years’ experience.
  • Experience with the Aegis Combat Management System Integrated Air and Missile Defense sensors, effectors, operations and capabilities
  • Experience with Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense operations and capabilities
  • Former U.S. Navy surface warfare officer
  • Experience with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) to include joint sensors, effectors and battle management systems

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Knowledge of U.S. Navy surface ship combat systems, sensors, and effectors
  • Strategic thinking with a proven track record of success; capable of assessing current and future maritime warfighting capabilities and requirements and developing innovative solutions to solve customers' most difficult problems
  • Proven leadership qualities, interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for achieving mission success for our customers

Role type: Remote. This position is designated as remote; the successful candidate will reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories). The interview process may include in-person steps at one of our office locations.

Salary range: 186,200 USD - 353,800 USD. Salary is a good faith estimate and depends on factors including role, experience, location, education, and skills. RTX offers benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, 401(k) match, and more as applicable to the business unit and union status where relevant.

This is a U.S.-based role. If the selected candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
