Position Summary

The Head of SaaS Growth is a senior, individual-contributor role responsible for owning and driving product-led growth outcomes across Joist and Invoice Simple, EverPro’s PLG SaaS products. Reporting to the GM, this role is accountable for the end-to-end SaaS growth funnel, including activation, conversion, monetization, retention, and expansion.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End SaaS Growth Ownership

  • Own the SaaS growth funnel across Joist and Invoice Simple, including activation, conversion, monetization, retention, and expansion.
  • Be accountable for SaaS growth performance and efficiency metrics, including MRR impact, retention, expansion, and CAC payback.
  • Provide a unified view of SaaS performance across products, rather than isolated, product-by-product optimization.

Growth Strategy, Roadmap & Experimentation

  • Define and maintain a clear, SaaS growth strategy for each Joist and Invoice Simple – leveraging shared principles and metrics, but with product-specific priorities.
  • Manage and support the growth experimentation cadence across onboarding, trial experience, pricing and packaging, upgrades, in-product nudges, and lifecycle touchpoints.
  • Ensure experiments are well-scoped, measurable, and sequenced to build sustained learning and impact over time.

Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Partner closely with the Growth PMs for Joist and Invoice Simple to align roadmaps and execution against growth plans.
  • Work with growth marketers and lifecycle marketers to ensure acquisition, activation, and retention efforts are tightly connected.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering, Data, and Research to embed growth priorities into product and platform roadmaps.
  • Coordinate with the Head of Payments Growth to align SaaS and Payments growth strategies where customer behavior and monetization intersect.

Executive Communication & Leadership

  • Regularly report to senior leaders on SaaS funnel performance, experiment results, and overall growth trajectory across both products.
  • Present a clear, integrated narrative that connects product changes, marketing efforts, and lifecycle programs to growth outcomes.
  • Serve as a trusted growth leader who brings focus, discipline, and confidence to how SaaS growth is planned, executed, and evaluated.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in SaaS growth, product-led growth, monetization, or expansion roles.
  • Proven experience owning activation, conversion, retention, and expansion metrics in a PLG environment.
  • Strong track record working across multiple products or business lines.
  • Deep experience partnering with Product and Engineering to drive in-product growth.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for senior leaders.
  • BS/BA required; advanced degree a plus.

Personal Characteristics

  • Smart and curious.
  • Confident, credible leader who operates effectively through influence rather than authority.
  • Comfortable setting direction and bringing structure to complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Highly collaborative and skilled at aligning diverse teams around shared goals.
  • Disciplined, data-informed decision-maker with strong communication skills.
  • Trusted partner to senior leadership, able to instill confidence through clarity and follow-through.
