Mitigation Service Line Director

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and deploy standardized service delivery procedures, tools, and best practices for use by regional teams.
  • Partner with Regional Managers and field leadership to ensure service line standards are clearly understood and consistently applied.
  • Provide subject‑matter expertise to regional teams on planning, execution, staffing models, and technical approaches.
  • Actively engage in service line business development activities to drive growth and increase market capture.
  • Support the implementation and enhancement of service lines by expanding innovative technologies and solutions that increase customer value and meet evolving client needs.

Regional Operations Support & Standardization

  • Develop, maintain, and deploy standardized service delivery procedures, tools, and best practices for use by regional teams.

Financial Stewardship & Performance Management

  • Ensure growth and long‑term sustainability of the segment through disciplined financial and operational management.
  • Implement processes that promote efficient utilization of labor, equipment, and other resources to support safe, secure, cost‑effective, and efficient operations.
  • Manage operational expenditures to maximize value and minimize non‑billable or unnecessary costs.
  • Establish and monitor service line metrics that accurately measure performance against targets at both the Segment and Regional levels.

Functional Leadership & People Development

  • Provide functional leadership, mentoring, and supervision to service line staff and subject matter experts.
  • Communicate regularly to ensure alignment with Acuren’s vision, goals, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Mentor and develop Service Line SMEs to strengthen both technical depth and leadership capability.
  • Foster positive morale and a culture that promotes ethical business practices, professional conduct, and accountability.
  • Support regional Human Resources activities related to recruitment, onboarding, development, and integration of service line personnel into local operations.

Other work duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Advanced project management skills, particularly with inspection and/or industrial services

EDUCATION

  • Post‑secondary degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of operational and technical experience.
  • Minimum of 10–15 years of related industrial experience, including 8–10 years in an operational and/or commercial leadership role.

Working Conditions

  • Work is performed in both office settings and field/job site environments.
  • Frequent travel to company locations, client sites, or offsite meetings within the assigned area.
  • Constantly operates standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, and printers.
  • When at job sites or client locations, must adhere to all site safety requirements including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE.)
  • Frequent interaction with managers, employees, and external stakeholders.
  • May require working beyond normal business hours to address emergent matters or project deadlines
  • Exposure to confidential and sensitive information requiring discretion and strict adherence to privacy regulations.
  • Adaptable to changing schedules with willingness to travel regularly, including last minute and overnight travel.

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS & DEMANDS

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working at a computer.
  • Frequent operation of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, and copiers.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with employees, managers, and external partners.
  • Occasional movement or lifting of office materials, files, or supplies weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to concentrate on detailed tasks, including reviewing and entering information accurately for extended periods.
